#110 Polls Heading South = Obama Military October Surprise
October 9, 2012
On Feb 12, 2010, I penned a post entitled “So What’s Gonna Happen Next, Eh?” (#54) in which I suggested that Obama would declare war on Iran in order to improve the economy and save what is left of his presidency. Since then, I have occasionally added arguments and posts containing links which supported this thesis. With Obama’s polls heading South now after his disastrous performance in the presidential debate, I think the chances of this happening in the next few weeks have increased dramatically. In fact, it may now be the case that Obama’s handlers are convinced that only a massive October military surprise can keep their boy in the White House. That such an event is in the planning was signaled by the following article in a transparently pro-Obama web site called “Foreign Policy”

I draw your attention to the opening line of that article:
“The Israelis and the Americans are zeroing in on a strike option that has a real chance of deterring the mullahs — and defusing Mitt Romney’s attacks.” [my italics]
